Grateful Goat Vineyard & Winery is located just north of a little town called Palmyra in the gentle rolling hills of Southern Indiana. Palmyra is known as the town with the big heart, the town where the folks are friendly, or Pal to all (depending on from which way you are arriving). Our vineyard and winery is only a short drive from Louisville, Kentucky.

Grateful Goat Vineyard & Winery will be participating in the Historic Newburgh Wine, Art and Jazz Festival on May 17th and 18th. Historic Newburgh is a charming River town just East of Evansville that was founded in 1803.

Wineries participating in the Saturday Festival include Grateful Goat Vineyard & Winery, Scout Mountain, Mystique Winery, Blue Heron Vineyards & Winery, Oliver Winery, Turtle Run Winery, Buck Creek Winery, Best Vineyards, Indian Creek Winery, Monkey Hollow Winery, Carousel Winery, Cedar Creek Winery, Easley Winery and Winzerwald.

Wine Classes will once again be provided by Bill Woerz and sponsored the Raffi's. Classes will be held in the Old Lock and Dam Building at 1:00 pm and at 3:00 pm.  They fill fast so get there early.

Food vendors for Saturday's Historic Newburgh Festival Include

1. Edgewater Grille – artichoke fondue, chicken salad wraps, chicken kabobs, assortedcheese plates
2. Rosehill Cafe –pulled pork barbeque, baked potatoe casserole, chocolate shot glasses, strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing and other assorted deserts.
